How to get strong without getting big
WebMy strength is increasing exponentially, for example, on db bench press I have gone from 30lbs in each hand to 80 lbs in each hand, and for most machines I now do 60-75% of the stack, and I am getting stronger in a linear fashion. Yet for some reason, I am not getting bigger, either I am not noticing the difference or something is up. WebI don't want to get bigger than necessary. Getting bigger is fine in essence but I don't want to be big and strong. I'd rather be like how I am (slim) now and strong. I understand that you can't get too far without getting big but then I'll continue with the training to increase strength and I'll just get bigger because there is no other way.
