It has been reported to have more antileukemic effect than other related drugs like fludarabine. Furthermore, combination WebClofarabine is a rationally designed, second-generation deoxyadenosine analog that incorporates characteristics of two other purine analogs, fludarabine and cladribine. It has shown efficacy in hematologic malignancies such as acute lymphoblastic leukemia, acute myeloid leukemia and myelodysplastic syndrome.
